Bodhi Prayer (“the App”) is published by Sagar Labs Next (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains what information the App uses and how it is handled.
Summary
Bodhi Prayer is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require you to create an account, we do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics in the App.
Information stored on your device
The App may store the following information locally on your phone or tablet:
- Display name you choose in the App (optional)
- Reading progress, bookmarks, favorites, and recently opened prayers
- Practice statistics such as streak count and prayers read
- App preferences (language, theme, text size, reminder settings)
- Completed ritual flows
This information stays on your device unless you back up your device through your operating system (for example, Android backup or iCloud).
Notifications and widgets
If you enable daily reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. The App does not send your personal data to our servers for reminders.
If you add home-screen widgets, they display prayer and wisdom content from data stored locally on your device.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your email address or phone number through the App
- We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the App
- We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information for marketing
When you contact us
If you email us (for example, to report a content issue), we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address and message contents. We use that information only to respond and improve the App.

Children’s privacy
The App is a general spiritual reading and practice tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and deletion
Data stored in the App remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. You can also clear the App’s data from your device settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
